The Primary have been working hard on their SDL topics – Years 3 & 4 have been learning about Italy, and Years 5 & 6 about the Anglo Saxons.  On 17th January they held an event to share what they had been learning about and creating with anyone who was interested to come and see.  There were lots of activities to take part in, including making your own Anglo Saxon coins, making and painting your own jewellery, weaving, trying out Anglo Saxon games and weapons.  The Year 3/4’s also had lots of activities and even delicious Italian food to taste, which proved popular. The Year 7’s seemed to take a particular interest in the subject – there wasn’t much left by the time they had finished their educational investigations!
